David Ilgenfritz
CEO (Co-Founder)
David Ilgenfritz is a Co-Founder and CEO of Roastify, a modern coffee roasting and web technologies company based in Bend, Oregon. With over 8 years of experience in aerial mapping technology and UAV LiDAR through his previous company Flight Evolved, David brings a unique tech-focused perspective to the art of coffee roasting, e-commerce, and manufacturing. After getting his start in web marketing and business management, David's passion for innovation led him to co-found Flight Evolved in 2015 with Jordan Rising (Roastify’s CTO). As Chief Operations Officer, he helped build relationships with Fortune 500 engineering firms, large electric utility companies, and the MLB (Major League Baseball) by providing aerial LiDAR and photogrammetric surveying services. David and Jordan successfully exited the company in late 2020 after completing a merge with another company in the industry.
Now, David brings his technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to Roastify. As CEO, he oversees Roastify's technology-driven approach to sourcing, roasting, and delivering exceptional specialty coffee experiences. David believes that innovation, automation, and data analytics will drive the future of the coffee industry. His goal is for Roastify to lead that change.
When he's not focused on growing Roastify, you can find David outdoors exploring the mountains with his family. He's an avid biker, skier, and fly fisherman. He also (enjoys?) suffering through triathlons as a hobby.
As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Roastify, Jordan Rising brings his expertise in software development and passion for innovation to push the technological boundaries of the coffee industry. Jordan has always been fascinated by the intersection of business and technology. Prior to Roastify, he founded Quantiscan, a software consultancy specializing in mobile development, AI, computer vision, and robotics. Through Quantiscan, Jordan helped businesses adopt and leverage technology to encourage growth. Earlier in his career, Jordan co-founded and was CTO of a LiDAR consultancy Flight Evolved where he provided technical leadership for data analytics with Fortune 500 engineering firms, large electric utilities, and Major League Baseball (MLB). Jordan successfully exited the company with co-founder David Ilgenfritz after completing a merger with another industry partner. The experience cemented Jordan's belief that emerging technologies can transform traditional industries.
As Roastify's CTO, Jordan oversees Roastify's software suite, including its private and public APIs and ecommerce integrations. This enables seamless integration with partner sites and omnichannel customer experiences. Jordan also built and manages the connections between Roastify's systems for production, inventory, shipping, and fulfillment to optimize operations and logistics. His goal is to pioneer new software solutions to enable complete customization and automated fulfillment of CPG (consumer packaged goods).
Outside of work, you can find Jordan exploring the mountains and lakes around his home in Kalispell Montana. He may be slightly biased, but in his mind there is no better place than NW Montana.
As a Co-Founder and Director of Operations at Roastify, Anne Juarez brings her lifelong passion for coffee and expertise in roasting to the Roastify team. With almost a decade of experience running wholesale coffee operations, behind the espresso machine, or roasting coffee, Anne oversees all of Roastify's production operations and helps craft exceptional coffee experiences. As Roastify's Director of Operations, Anne leads packaging and shipping operations, oversees coffee roast profile development, and ensures quality control from bean to cup. She believes that attention to detail and respect for the art and science of coffee are vital for producing roast profiles that showcase the nuanced flavors of each coffee origin.
In addition to her work at Roastify, Anne is also a co-founder of Matchbox Coffee. She helped build and establish Matchbox as a leading specialty coffee company known for its commitment to quality.
When she's not sampling the latest coffee harvests or fine-tuning Roastify's roast profiles, you can find Anne exploring Oregon's outdoor paradise with her family and dog.
Jackson Carpenter brings his creative spirit and marketing expertise to his role as Co-Founder and Director of Marketing & Sales at Roastify. With years of experience founding and leading his own media production and marketing consulting companies, Jackson oversees all branding, communications, and go-to-market strategies for Roastify. Prior to co-founding Roastify, Jackson launched Proclamation Marketing, where he provided results-driven marketing services for clients ranging from startups to large influencer brands. He also founded Push Play Productions and Push Play Podcasts, producing professional media content and branded podcasts for American businesses and personalities.
As Director of Marketing & Sales, Jackson is responsible for building Roastify's brand identity, engaging customers across digital and traditional channels, and driving sales growth through wholesale and DTC channels. His creative expertise helps Roastify connect with coffee lovers through compelling content across paid, owned, and earned media.
Jackson's passion for relationship-building also powers Roastify's partnerships with cafes, restaurants, and specialty retailers to expand wholesale distribution. He firmly believes creating win-win relationships with customers and partners is vital to succeed in business and life.
Outside of Roastify HQ, you can find Jackson on the trails and slopes in Bend exploring Oregon's natural beauty with his camera in hand to fuel future creative projects.
